Aim of the workshop

The aim of this interdisciplinary workshop is to explore how to support women in their next birth after caesarean.

Workshop Description

In this workshop, we will look at the role of the midwife. doctor or birth worker in supporting women plan their birth after caesarean.

We will support trauma-informed approaches to debriefing previous birth experiences and the evidence surrounding birth after caesarean options.

The workshop uses the four factors from Hazel's PhD findings to see how to support women plan the best birth after caesarean for them.

Certification is given upon completion of the workshop. Attendance of the full day is equivalent to 7 hours of CPD.

In this workshop Hazel Keedle will share from the finding from her PhD the four factors on how to support women plan and prepare for the best birth after Caesarean. She will also cover the role of the midwife, doctor and birthworker and explore the importance of trauma informed approaches.

  1. Ticket Purchase: By purchasing a ticket for the Belly2Birth Pty Ltd workshops, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

  2. Cancellation and Refunds: a. Refunds will only be granted if a cancellation request is submitted in writing (via email or text to Shari at 0423773316) more than 7 days prior to the event. b. If you cancel within 7 days of the event, no refund will be provided. However, you may gift or sell your ticket to another person but this also must be given in writing to Shari & Belly2Birth to advise name change. c. Refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe after receiving the cancellation request minus any bank fees for the transfer.

  3. Event Changes: a. Belly2Birth Pty Ltd reserves the right to modify or cancel the workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to insufficient registrations, natural disasters, or other events beyond our control. b. In the event of a cancellation by Belly2Birth Pty Ltd, registered participants will be notified as soon as possible, and a full refund will be issued.

  4. Code of Conduct: a. All participants are expected to adhere to a respectful and inclusive code of conduct throughout the workshop. b. Any behavior deemed disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful to others may result in removal from the event without a refund.

  5. Photography and Media: a. Belly2Birth Pty Ltd may capture photographs or videos during the workshop for promotional purposes. b. By attending the workshop, you grant Belly2Birth Pty Ltd the right to use any such media in which you may appear, without any compensation or notification.

  6. Health and Safety: a. Participants are responsible for their own health and safety during the workshop.
