We are so excited to be able to tell you we had a beautiful baby boy called Boston. He was born on 29/4/16 and is everything we could of hoped for and more.
My waters broke on wed 27th and i was already having surges every half hr or so but they werent getting stronger or more frequent. I let the hospital know and they wanted to induce me within 18 hrs. As you can imagine, this wasnt one of our preferences so we met with the doctor and decided to let me my body to do its thing naturally. I was not sleeping and by fri i was exhausted so we spoke as a couple and decided to accept the induction on friday after a long and tiring 2 days. My labour was short and intense (about 4.5 hrs) but i used absolutely everything id been practising and gave birth to a beautiful boy.
I cannot praise the hypnobirthing enough and found myself mentally and physically so ready for birth. Michael was amazing and so supportive, thanks again to the tips from the course. I could not of done it without him and he felt so part of it all.
Another big bonus is the hypnobirthing tracks soothe Boston now when he is upset. I have already recommended the course to my pregnant friends and they were in shock at how positively i spoke about our birth experience.
