Our daughter Asher May was born on the 24th June, weighing 8lbs 10oz.
She ended up being medically induced as there was a concern for her wellbeing after some unexplained bleeding. Even though I was induced I was still able to proceed with my birth plan and have a natural birth.
Active labour was around 5 hours I took a little amount of gas at the start as things started happening very quickly. The breathing and relaxation techniques got me through the rest with no more interventions.
Thank you for all your help. I was so informed and was able to make informed decisions with my OB, who supported my choice for "the most natural" birth possible and worked with me. Even with the induction I still walked away from my birth feeling empowered and I had given Asher the best start to life that I could. Thanks again Chelsea
